Pigs Knuckles And Sauerkraut With Caraway Dumplings

Ingredients
  Sauerkraut 1 1⁄2 Quart
  Pigs knuckles 6 (Fresh / Corned)
  Onion 1 , chopped
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Caraway dumpling batter 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Put sauerkraut and pigs' knuckles in kettle.
Sprinkle with chopped onion and add water.
Simmer, covered, until tender, about 2 1/2 hours.
Drop Caraway Dumpling Batter by tablespoonfuls on top; cover and cook for 15 minutes.
