Chili And Dumplings
|Ground beef||1 Pound|
|Chopped green pepper||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Instant minced onion||1 Tablespoon|
|Chili with beef soup||11 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Water||11 Ounce (1 Soup Can)|
|Corn muffin mix||8 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Dried parsley flakes||2 Teaspoon|
|Milk||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
Brown ground beef in skillet.
Drain off excess fat.
Add green pepper, onion, chili soup, and water.
Mix thoroughly and bring to boil.
Combine muffin mix, parsley, egg, and milk; mix till well blended.
Drop half the muffin mixture by tablespoons onto boiling chili to make 4 dumplings.
(Bake remainder of mixture as muffins.) Cover tightly and simmer 15 minutes.
