|Eggs||4 , well beaten|
|Flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Add as much flour to the eggs as needed to form a soft but pliable dough.
Then add a pinch of salt.
With a sharp knife, cut small pieces of dough from edge of a chopping board into boiling salted water.
Cook for about 2-3 min.
Remove with a slotted spoon, and plunge into cold water.
Drain and put on a platter.
Fry in a little butter immediately before serving.
Serve with Sauerbraten.
