Sauerkraut And Pork With Dumplings
|Pork roast||3 Pound (1 Piece)|
|Canned sauerkraut||29 Ounce (One No.2 1/2 Can)|
|Onion||1 Medium, chopped|
|Potatoes||6 Medium, pared|
|Prepared biscuit mix||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Milk||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
Place roast in Dutch oven; arrange sauerkraut and onion around roast.
Fill with water until sauerkraut is covered.
Bake, covered, in 325-degree oven for 3 hours.
Cook potatoes in boiling salted water until tender.
Mix all remaining ingredients well with fork.
Place roast in Dutch oven on top of stove over low heat.
Spoon biscuit mixture onto boiling sauerkraut.
Cook for 10 minutes over low heat.
Uncover; cook for 10 minutes longer.
Drain potatoes; mash.
Place mashed potatoes in serving dish; arrange sauerkraut and dumplings over top.
Remove roast to platter; serve with potatoes, sauerkraut and dumplings.
