Egg Drop Dumplings
|All purpose flour||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
|Baking powder||2 3⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Egg||1 , slightly beaten|
Sift flour, measure and resift 3 times with the baking powder and salt.
The last time sift into a bowl.
Mix milk and beaten egg, and add all at once to the flour mixture.
Mix lightly with a fork until ingredients are just dampened, but not smooth.
Drop by tablespoonfuls onto boiling stew.
Cover and let boil for 12 minutes.
