Grumber Potato Dumplings
|Bread slice||8 , dipped in water, squeezed out|
|Onion||1 Small, grated|
|Boiling water||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Cooked potatoes||4 Cup (64 tbs), cooled and grated|
To the bread and seasoning, add potatoes and well-beaten eggs.
Form into balls and roll in flour delicately.
Drop in salted boiling water or on top of stewing chicken.
Cover well and cook for 15 minutes.
Try as an accompaniment to stewed chicken on a cold, frosty day.
