Grumber Potato Dumplings

  Bread slice 8 , dipped in water, squeezed out
  Onion 1 Small, grated
  Flour 4 Tablespoon
  Parsley 2 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
  Boiling water 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Cooked potatoes 4 Cup (64 tbs), cooled and grated
  Eggs 2

To the bread and seasoning, add potatoes and well-beaten eggs.
Form into balls and roll in flour delicately.
Drop in salted boiling water or on top of stewing chicken.
Cover well and cook for 15 minutes.
Try as an accompaniment to stewed chicken on a cold, frosty day.
