Apples N Dumplings
|Refrigerated biscuits||8 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Cooking apples||4 Medium, peeled and sliced|
|Raisins||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped nuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Dark corn syrup||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Firmly packed brown sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Separate biscuits and cut each in half.
Arrange in 2-quart (12 x 7) baking dish.
Top with apples, raisins and nuts.
In 2-cup measure, combine water, corn syrup, brown sugar and butter.
Cook uncovered, 2 minutes, 30 seconds or until mixture boils.
Pour over apples, coating most of apples.
Cook covered with wax paper, 8 to 9 minutes or until apples are tender.
