Marrow Dumplings

Ingredients
  Marrow 2 (3 Inch Long)
  Softened butter 1 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Minced fresh parsley 1 Tablespoon
  Fine bread crumbs 6 Tablespoon
  Baking powder 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Black pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Freshly grated nutmeg 1⁄8 Teaspoon
Directions

Remove marrow from bones to make 3 tablespoons.
Mash with fork and mix in butter.
Combine with remaining ingredients and form into small balls the size of a nutmeg.
Drop into gently boiling water and cook about 5 minutes until balls are slightly puffed and rise to surface.
Be careful not to overcook.
