|Crushed unsalted cracker crumbs||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Blanched whole almonds||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), coarsely ground|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Browned butter||3 Tablespoon|
|White pepper powder||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Garlic powder||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Freshly grated lemon peel||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Unbleached flour||1 Cup (16 tbs) (If Needed)|
Mix together all ingredients, chill and form into small balls, using flour if needed to make a workable dough.
Drop by half teaspoonfuls into gently boiling salted water or broth; cook 5 minutes or until balls rise to surface.
