Stewed Chicken With Dumplings
|Condensed cream of chicken soup||10 1⁄4 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Packaged biscuit mix||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Onion||1 Medium, thickly sliced|
|Milk||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Celery stalks||2 Large, cut into 2 inch pieces|
|Chicken parts||2 Pound|
|Carrots||4 Small, cut into 2 inch pieces|
Put chicken, soup, water, vegetables, and pepper in large heavy pot.
Cover; simmer 40 minutes or until chicken is tender.
Combine biscuit mix and milk; stir lightly with a fork.
Drop dough by spoonsful onto pieces of chicken.
Cook, uncovered, 10 minutes.
Cover; cook 10 minutes more.
