Corn Meal Dumplings
|Corn meal||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Melted butter||1 Tablespoon|
Sift together corn meal, flour, baking powder, and salt.
Beat eggs and milk together, then stir into dry ingredients.
Add the melted butter.
Drop batter from a spoon into a pot of boiled greens or heated stock.
Cover tightly and cook over a low heat for 15 minutes.
