Stew N Dumplings

|Canned condensed vegetable soup||10 3⁄4 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Diced cooked beef||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Prepared biscuit mix||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Milk||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
Drain onions; reserve liquid; add water to make 1 cup.
Brown onions in butter; stir often.
Add soup, onion liquid, and meat; bring to boil.
Meanwhile, blend biscuit mix and milk; drop dough, making 8 dumplings, from spoon into simmering stew.
Cover; cook 15 minutes more without lifting lid.
