Named for Count Camillo Negroni who while visiting Caffe Casoni in Florence Italy one evening in 1919 asked the bartender to add a little zip to his Americano red Vermouth and Campari with a splash of gin. A popular new drink was born the Negroni cocktail.
MAKING 2 In a lowball glass add the ice. 3 Add in the Campari vermouth and vodka. 4 Stir gently and top with soda. SERVING 5 Garnish with orange and serve.
MAKING 1. In a lowball glass add ice cubes campari bitters sweet Italian vermouth and gin. 2. Top up the drink with fizzing soda water. SERVING 3. Garnish with an orange slice and serve chilled.
Mix together the Campari gin and sweet vermouth with ice. Strain into a chilled glass over ice. Twist the lemon peel over the glass then drop it in. May be served with a little soda water if desired.
1. Combine gin Campari and vermouth in a cocktail shaker with ice. 2. Strain into cocktail glasses garnish with orange shreds.
Combine ice gin vermouth and Campari in highball glass stir to combine. Top with soda water.
