Classic Gimlet Cocktail
A classic cocktail with just the right balance of sweet sour. MAKING 1. Fill a cocktail beaker with ice. 2. Pour gin lime juice and simple syrup in it. Stir until cold. Strain it in a chilled cocktail glass. SERVING 3. Serve gimlet cocktail with lime wheel
Put the caster sugar in a pan with 6 tbsp water. Simmer gently until all the sugar has dissolved. Simmer for 2 minutes then cool. Mix together the gin and lime juice and 3 tbsp of the sugar syrup. Divide between 6 old fashioned glasses filled with ice. Top
