To talk about top 10 frozen drink ideas, there are so many items that it becomes confusing to select the top 10. Here I am sharing some of my favorite frozen drink ideas, which will be perfect for any type of occasion. This top 10 list consists of both - alcoholic and non-alcoholic frozen drinks.


Frozen Margarita


To prepare this alcoholic frozen drink you will require ½  part of tequila, ½ part of Cointreau or any orange-flavored liquid and ¼ part of fresh lime juice. Blend this mixture into the blender with 4 parts of ice cubes, until the mixture becomes smooth.


Lime Blueberry Margarita


This is an exotic variation of the simple margarita drink, which requires 1 part frozen blueberries, 1 part blueberry nectar, ¼ part seltzer, ¼ part frozen limeade, 1/8 part lime juice, ½ part tequila and pinch of salt. Mix all these together with 2 parts of ice in a blender to make it smooth. Take the salted rim margarita glass to serve by garnishing with lime wedge.


Frozen Pina Colada


Blend the mixture of ¾ part pineapple juice, ½ part golden rum and ½ part cream of coconut with 4 parts ice cubes. When done the mixture will become smooth and frothy.


Frozen Iced Tea


Take 2 parts of black tea, strongly brewed and at room temperature to blend with 4 scoops of orange sorbet. Blend it thoroughly to make a smooth mixture. You may add ½ part of ice cubes to this mixture before the blending process to make it more frozen. Pour into glass to serve.


Frozen Double-Chocolate


This is the best frozen drink for kids. Take 4 scoops of chocolate ice cream for every cup of milk. To this add, 3 tablespoon chocolate syrup and 3 tablespoon malted milk powder. Combine all these ingredients together inside the blender to prepare a smooth and frothy frozen drink.


Frozen Watermelon Slush


You will need 3 parts of watermelon, de-seeded and cubed; to mix with 1 part of frozen strawberry, ¼ part of chilled pineapple juice and ¼ part of freshly squeezed lime juice. To make it super frozen, you can add couple of ice cubes, before you start to blend all of them to make a smooth drink.


Pineapple Smash


Take 1 part of ice cubes, ½ part of pineapple syrup and sugar in proportion, to blend in a blender. Pour into the glass and add carbonated water or soda to fill in the remaining part. Garnish with crushed pineapple or pineapple slice.


Frozen Virgin Mary


You would start your preparation with 3 parts of ice cubes and 2 parts of chilled vegetable juice. To this, you should add ¼ part of fresh lime juice, 1/8 part of Worcestershire sauce, 1/8 part of hot pepper sauce and pinch of freshly ground pepper. Blend all these ingredients inside the blender thoroughly and serve in tall glasses.


Frozen Raspberry, Lime and Mint


Take ½ cup frozen raspberries, ½ cup pomegranate juice, freshly squeezed lime juice, a banana, few spearmint leaves and 2 scoops of frozen vanilla yogurt to blend into a smooth puree. Refrigerate for couple of hours before you serve.


Maple Frostbite


To prepare this drink, you need to blend 1 part of ice with ½ part of maple syrup and ¼ part of vanilla syrup. Now, take the frappe glass to sugar on the rim and half-fill with the drink. Fill the remaining part with plain soda water. Garnish with orange slice and serve with a straw.
