Wild Rose Soda

Ingredients
  Sugar 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Light corn syrup 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Prepared rose petals 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Lemon juice 1 Teaspoon
  Red food coloring 2 Drop
  Vanilla ice cream 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Soda water 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Use As Needed)
Directions

Simmer sugar, syrup and 3/4 cup water in saucepan 25 minutes.
Puree rose petals with 1/2 cup water in blender.
Add to cooled sugar-syrup mixture along with lemon juice.
Mix in coloring, if desired.
Pour 2 1/2 to 3 Tbsp.of syrup into bottom of 8 oz.glass.
Add a scoop of ice cream.
Fill with soda water.
