Chilled Mayonnaise Dressing
|Hard cooked egg yolk||1|
|Egg yolk||1 , uncooked|
|Prepared mustard||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Worcestershire sauce||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Salad oil||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Vinegar/Lemon juice||3 Tablespoon|
1.In a bowl, place hard cooked egg yolk and mash it fine.
2.When the yolk is like powder, add uncooked yolk and stir until mixture is smooth, then add sugar, salt, pepper, mustard and sauce.
3.When the whole is well mixed, add gradually, stirring constantly, and thin as necessary with vinegar or lemon juice.
4.Chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour before using.
5.Originally, only a spoon was used in beating this dressing, however, now a wire whisk, small wooden spoon, or a rotary egg beater may be used.
