Country Sausage And Oyster Dressing
|Margarine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Mushrooms||1 Pound, chopped|
|Chopped onion||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped celery||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Fresh oysters||1 Pint, chopped|
|White bread crumbs||1 Quart|
|Corn bread crumbs||1 1⁄2 Quart|
|Chopped parsley||2 Tablespoon|
|Rubbed sage||3 Tablespoon|
|Country sausage||1 Pound|
|Chopped olives||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Grated carrot||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Eggs||4 , well beaten|
|Oyster liquid||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Poultry broth||2 1⁄6 Cup (34.67 tbs)|
Heat margarine in large skillet; add the sausage and mushrooms.
Add onion, celery and carrots.
Cook 5 to 8 min.over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl.
Stuffing for a 14 to 16 pound turkey.
