Pear Salad With O'Henry's Dressing is an amazingly delicious dressing recipe version. An easy to make dressing recipe, you will simply find this recipe both mouth-watering and amazingly tempting.
  Pears 6
  Shredded lettuce 6 Cup (96 tbs)
  Sour cream 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Crumbled blue cheese 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Nutmeg To Taste

Cut 6 ripe pears, chilled, in quarters.
Core and cut each quarter in half lengthwise.
On 6 individual salad plates, arrange 1 cup shredded lettuce and 8 pear slices.
To 1 cup sour cream, add 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese and mix well.
Place a dollop of dressing on each salad and sprinkle lightly with a grating of fresh nutmeg.
Bottled blue cheese dressing may be substituted for the sour cream and crumbled blue cheese, if you wish.
O'Henry's dressing, by the way, is simply blue cheese crumbled into sour cream.
