Baked Dressed Fish

Use six 8-ounce fresh or frozen pan-dressed fish or one 3-pound fresh or frozen dressed fish.
Thaw frozen fish.
Remove heads, if desired.
Rinse and dry fish.
Place in a single layer in greased baking pan.
Brush fish, inside and outside, with 1/4 cup melted butter and season with 1 1/2 teaspoons salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper.
Bake, covered, at 350" till fish flakes easily when tested with a fork, 25 to 30 minutes for pan-dressed fish, and 45 to 60 minutes for dressed fish.
