|Lightly packed crumbs||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Melted butter/Margarine||3 Tablespoon|
|Dried sage||1 Teaspoon|
|Egg||1 , well beaten|
|Cream/Top milk||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Wash chestnuts and make a gash in each shell.
Bake in a very hot oven 500°F.
for 15 minutes.
Cool and remove shells and skins.
Cook in boiling salted water for 20 minutes.
Drain and chop fine.
Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
Makes about 4 cups of dressing.
