Boiled Dressing

This gorgeously prepare Boiled Dressing is an extremely wonderful way to pep-up any bland dish. You'll really enjoy cooking this Boiled Dressing, as it is quick and vey easy to make!
Ingredients
  Cider vinegar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Butter 1 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Flour 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Dry mustard 1 Teaspoon
  Celery seed 1 Teaspoon
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Milk 1
Directions

Heat the vinegar, water and butter together in the top of a double boiler.
Combine in a bowl, sugar, flour, salt, mustard, celery seed and egg.
Add enough milk to make a thin paste.
Stir a little of the hot liquid into the mixture in the bowl, return con- tents to double boiler and cook over hot water, stirring con- stantly, until the mixture is smooth and thick.
Cool slightly and then store in the refrigerator in a covered container.
Makes about 2 cups dressing.
