Cooked Buttermilk Dressing
|All-purpose flour||2 Tablespoon|
|Powdered mustard||1 Teaspoon|
|Salt||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Celery seeds||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Vinegar||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Buttermilk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
1. In top part of a double boiler combine dry ingredients, add vinegar and buttermilk and cook over boiling water, stirring constantly, until thick.
2. With cover cook for 10 minutes longer, cool and chill.
3. Transfer to a container or jar, refrigerate and use with salads as required.
