Country Style Cornbread Dressing
|Finely chopped onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Finely chopped bell pepper||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Finely chopped celery||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Oleo/Butter||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Crumbled cornbread||8 Cup (128 tbs)|
|Hard boiled eggs||6 , chopped|
|Cream of chicken soup||1 Can (10 oz)|
|Canned chicken broth||20 Ounce (2 Cans, 10 Ounce Each)|
Saute onions, green pepper and celery in oleo until tender.
Combine with crumbled cornbread.
Add hard-boiled eggs, undiluted chicken soup and chicken broth.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Bake uncovered at 350 degrees in buttered shallow casserole until light brown and crusty on top.
