|Avocados||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped|
|Dairy sour cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon (fresh)|
|Vegetable oil||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Onion||1 Tablespoon, chopped|
|Garlic clove||1 Small|
|Chili powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon (scant)|
|Hot pepper sauce||1⁄4 Teaspoon (or to taste)|
Process all ingredients in a blender or food processor until pureed. Place in a container with a cover along with the avocado pit, which will help prevent discoloration.
Can be refrigerated for up to 3 days. The flavor improves with an hour or more of chilling.
