Steak Salad With Classic Dressing
|Soy sauce||2 Tablespoon|
|Vegetable oil||1 Tablespoon|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), finely chopped|
|Freshly ground black pepper||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Sirloin steak||1 Pound|
|Red potatoes||2 Large, boiled with skins on and coarsely chopped|
|Red onion||1 Medium, cut in rings|
|Red pepper||1 , thinly sliced|
|Cooked peas||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped italian parsley||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Dressing||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Classic)|
1. In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, oil, garlic and pepper. Brush over both sides of steak; marinate overnight in refrigerator. Remove steak from marinade.
2. Grill, broil or barbecue steak for 3 to 4 minutes on each side, until rare. Cut diagonally, across the grain, into thin slices.
3. In a large bowl, combine hot steak slices, potatoes, onion, pepper, peas and parsley.
4. Pour dressing over top and toss well to coat.
