Herbed Buttermilk Dressing

  Buttermilk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Chopped parsley 2 Tablespoon
  Minced onion 2 Tablespoon
  Dry basil 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Oregano leaves 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Dry rosemary 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Savory leaves 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), minced / pressed
  Mayonnaise 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Homemade / Purchased, Regular Or Imitation)
  Blue cheese 8 Ounce, crumbled
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste

In a bowl, combine buttermilk, parsley, onion, basil, oregano, rosemary, savory, and garlic; let stand for 5 minutes.
Beat in mayonnaise and season to taste with salt and pepper.
If made ahead, cover and refrigerate.
Store for as long as 1 week.
Before serving, gently stir in cheese, if you wish
