Herbed Buttermilk Dressing
|Buttermilk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped parsley||2 Tablespoon|
|Minced onion||2 Tablespoon|
|Dry basil||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Oregano leaves||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Dry rosemary||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Savory leaves||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), minced / pressed|
|Mayonnaise||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Homemade / Purchased, Regular Or Imitation)|
|Blue cheese||8 Ounce, crumbled|
In a bowl, combine buttermilk, parsley, onion, basil, oregano, rosemary, savory, and garlic; let stand for 5 minutes.
Beat in mayonnaise and season to taste with salt and pepper.
If made ahead, cover and refrigerate.
Store for as long as 1 week.
Before serving, gently stir in cheese, if you wish
