Original Thousand Island Dressing
|Mayonnaise||16 Fluid Ounce|
|Tabasco sauce||1 1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Chopped pimientos/Sweet pickle||2 Tablespoon|
|Stuffed green olives||10 , finely chopped|
|Hard boiled eggs||2 , very finely chopped|
|Shallot||1 Medium, very finely chopped|
|Olive oil||3 Tablespoon|
|Freshly ground black pepper||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Wine vinegar||1 Tablespoon|
In a large bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Tabasco, chopped pimientos or pickle, green olives, chopped eggs, shallot, olive oil, salt, black pepper and wine vinegar and beat them together with a wooden spoon, until they are thoroughly blended.
Pour the dressing into a serving bowl and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
