|Mayonnaise||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Dry mustard||1 Teaspoon|
|Egg/2 egg yolks||1 Large|
|Salad oil||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
1. In a small but deep bowl, mix spices and egg.
2. Add oil one drop at a time, beating constantly until an emulsion forms (mixture thickens).
3. Beat in 1 tbsp. vinegar and the remaining oil in larger portions.
4. Add remaining vinegar and beat vigorously. Refrigerate.
