Macadamia Nut Dressing For Turkey
|Turkey drippings||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Chopped onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped celery||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Dry bread crumbs||1 Quart|
|Chopped macadamia nuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Diced pineapple/Or more||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Turkey stock||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Giblet Stock, At Room Temp)|
|Eggs||2 , lightly beaten|
|Pepper white||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Pour the turkey drippings into a very large frying pan.
Saute onions and celery until tender but still slightly crisp.
Stir bread cubes, macadamia nuts, and pineapple, if desired, into the onions and celery.
Pour over the stock and beaten eggs.
Fold in thoroughly.
Season with salt and pepper.
