Apple dressing made with vegetables and cornbread crumbs is a filling and crunchy-sweet meat dressing. Seasoned with poultry seasoning and moistened with milk, the apple dressing is cooked in the oven to finish.
|Cornbread crumbs||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Peeled chopped cooking apples||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Chopped celery||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Onion||1 Small, chopped|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), melted|
|Poultry seasoning||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Egg||1 , slightly beaten|
Combine all ingredients.
Spoon into a lightly greased 8 inch square pan.
Bake at 375° for 30 minutes.
Cut into 6 squares.
