|Fat||2 Cup (32 tbs) (for deep frying)|
|White sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Milk||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Skim milk||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Unsifted all purpose flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Baking powder||3 Teaspoon|
Beat eggs slightly, add sugar.
Then add top and skim milk.
Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg and work into first mixture.
Add enough additional sifted flour to make a soft dough.
Pat out lightly on floured board.
Cut with doughnut cutter and fry in deep fat.
Test with fat thermometer or drop an inch cube of bread into fat.
If it is golden brown in 60 seconds, fat is about 370F or temperature required.
