Sour-Cream Doughnuts Ii
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Baking soda||1 Teaspoon|
|Sour cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Flour||3 1⁄4 Cup (52 tbs)|
|Fat||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Confectioner sugar||1 Tablespoon|
Beat eggs and sugar together.
Mix soda with sour cream, add to egg mixture.
Gradually add flour, nutmeg, and salt.
When all flour is absorbed, cover dough, put in refrigerator overnight.
Roll out dough on a floured board to 1/4 inch thickness.
Cut with doughnut cutter or into desired shapes.
Heat fat in skillet, drop doughnuts into fat.
Doughnuts are done when lightly browned all around.
Drain on paper towels.
Dust with confectioners sugar.
