Spicy Orange Doughnuts

Personally, I think that this Spicy Orange Doughnuts recipe is the best! Filled with the goodness of orange,this is a great snack. A really satisfying option for those sweet cravings!
Ingredients
  Flour 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Cinnamon 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Nutmeg 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Baking powder 2 Teaspoon
  Soda 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Eggs 3
  Sugar 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  Sour cream 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Shortening 1 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Orange 1 , juiced and rind grated
Directions

MAKING
1) In a bowl, sift the flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking powder, soda and salt.
2) Beat the eggs well, slowly working in the sugar while beating.
3) Mix in the sour cream, shortening, orange juice, orange rind and flour mix.
4) Turn out the dough onto a floured surface.
5) Roll to about 1/2 inch thick.
6) Cut using a doughnut cutter.
7) Drop into hot deep oil and fry brown on both sides.
8) Remove to paper towels and drain.

SERVING
9) Serve topped with cream!
