Sourdough Doughnuts

Ingredients
  Sourdough starter 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Buttermilk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Flour 4 3⁄4 Cup (76 tbs)
  Eggs 3
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Cooking oil 1 Tablespoon
  Baking soda 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Nutmeg 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

Combine eggs & sugar, mix well.
Add all dry ingredients plus buttermilk, sourdough starter & cooking oil, mix well.
Knead on floured dough board until nice and smooth.
Roll out to about 1/2" thickness and cut with a doughnut cutter.
Let rise on a greased pan for about 35 minutes, then fry in deep hot fat (365 degrees) until they are a golden brown on both sides.
Roll in sugar while still warm.
