Basic Scone Dough

If you want cripsy and scrumptious scones, the Basic Scone Dough is ideal for you! I 've got some great scones with this Basic Scone Dough. Try out to see what I mean and let me know what you feel about it!
  Self raising flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Butter 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Milk 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)

Sift flour and baking powder or self-raising flour with salt into a mixing bowl.
Rub butter into flour lightly with the fingertips until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs.
Make a well in the centre of the flour, pour in milk and mix with a round bladed knife to a soft dough.
Turn on to a lightly floured board and knead very lightly until smooth (about 10 kneads).
Roll out 1/2-inch thick and use as required.
