|All purpose flour||375 Milliliter|
|Granulated sugar||50 Milliliter|
|Quick rising instant yeast||15 Milliliter|
In large bowl, combine whole wheat flour, 1 cup (250 mL) of the all-purpose flour, sugar, yeast and salt.
Heat milk and butter until hot (125 to 130Ã‚Â°F/52 to 54Ã‚Â°C).
Stir into flour mixture, along with egg, beating well with wooden spoon.
Mix in enough of the remaining flour until dough is no longer sticky.
Turn out onto floured surface and knead for 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Cover; let rest for 10 minutes in warm place.
Divide into 2 portions.
