Quick Dough

Ingredients
  Whole wheat flour 500 Milliliter
  All purpose flour 375 Milliliter
  Granulated sugar 50 Milliliter
  Quick rising instant yeast 15 Milliliter
  Salt 2 Milliliter
  Milk 300 Milliliter
  Butter 25 Milliliter
  Egg 1
Directions

In large bowl, combine whole wheat flour, 1 cup (250 mL) of the all-purpose flour, sugar, yeast and salt.
Heat milk and butter until hot (125 to 130°F/52 to 54°C).
Stir into flour mixture, along with egg, beating well with wooden spoon.
Mix in enough of the remaining flour until dough is no longer sticky.
Turn out onto floured surface and knead for 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Cover; let rest for 10 minutes in warm place.
Divide into 2 portions.
