Caraway Pie Dough

Ingredients
  All purpose flour 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Caraway seeds 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cold unsalted butter 5 Tablespoon, cut into tablespoons
  Vegetable shortening 2 Tablespoon, chilled
  Ice water 2 Tablespoon
Directions

1. In a food processor, combine the flour, salt and caraway seeds. Process for 3 seconds. Add the butter and shortening and process, turning the machine quickly on and off, until the mixture resembles oatmeal.
2. With the machine on, pour in 2 tablespoons of the ice water and process just until the dough begins to mass together; do not overprocess. Add more water if the pastry does not mass together. Gather the dough into a ball and pat into a 6-inch disk. Cover with waxed paper and refrigerate until firm.
