|Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Sour cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Baking powder||2 Teaspoon|
|Baking soda||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Nuts/Dried fruit, chocolate pieces||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs) (decoration of your choice)|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
Preheat oven to 375 °F (190 °C).
Butter a cookie sheet.
In a bowl, cream butter and brown sugar.
Mix in sour cream.
In a second bowl, sift flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Fold into first mixture.
Mix to a smooth dough.
Roll out dough.
Cut cookies with a knife or cookie cutter.
Top with your choice of decoration.
Brush with beaten egg.
Place on cookie sheet.
Bake in oven 12 minutes.
Dust with icing sugar or cocoa before serving.
