This easy to make Springtime breakfast treat can be made in minutes and it is DELICIOUS. I love using fresh beautiful strawberries and then topping it off with a creamy glaze. Perfect lazy weekend breakfast or brunch recipe!
For scones: | ||
All purpose flour | 2 Cup (32 tbs) | |
Sugar | 3 Tablespoon | |
Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Cold butter | 6 Tablespoon , dice | |
Fresh strawberries | 14 , dice | |
Half and half | 3/4 Cup (12 tbs) | |
For glaze: | ||
Powdered sugar | 2 Cup (32 tbs) | |
Half and half | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) (((as desired))) | |
Vanilla extract | 1/2 Teaspoon |
GETTING READY:
1.Preheat oven to 425F.
MAKING:
2.In a bowl, combine flour, salt, sugar, butter and cut into ingredients using pastry cutter or mix using hands as shown in the video.
3.Once done, add half and half, strawberries and mix well.
4.Place dough onto baking tray and make a circle and divide them as shown in the video.
5.Pop into oven and bake for 15-17 minutes.
6.Once done, allow to cool completely.
7.In a bowl, combine powdered sugar, vanilla extract, half and half and whisk well.
8.Drizzle over cooled scones
