Spinach And Cream Cheese Dip
|Frozen chopped spinach||10 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Cream cheese||8 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Minced onion||2 Tablespoon|
|Lemon juice||1 Tablespoon|
|Ground nutmeg||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
Cook spinach as directed in chart .
Drain well and set aside.
Place cream cheese and butter in a 1 qt. glass casserole dish.
Microwave 45 seconds to 1 minute [LOW 2, 3 minutes 30 seconds to 4 minutes 30 seconds].Let stand 5 minutes.
Place bacon on paper toweling in a 12x8x2 inch glass baking dish.
Cover with a paper towel.
Microwave 5 minutes 30 seconds to 6 minutes, giving dish a 1/2 turn during cooking.
Crumble and set aside.
Add spinach, milk, onion, lemon juice, nutmeg and half the bacon to the softened cheese.
Mix until well blended.
Garnish with remaining bacon and serve with fresh vegetables or crisp crackers.
