Red Caviar Dip (Taramosakta)
|Fish roe||4 Ounce (Also Known As Tarama)|
|Whole wheat bread slice||10|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Onion||1 Medium, minced|
|Olive oil||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
Beat tarama in a mixer for 5 minutes at medium speed.
Sprinkle bread lightly with water and squeeze very dry.
Add bread, slice by slice, to tarama, beating after each addition.
Add onion and beat.
Slowly pour in olive oil, alternating with lemon juice to taste.
Beat until fluffy.
Serve with crackers or small pieces of crusty Greek bread.
