10min.chef's picture
Easy shrimp dip me, the seafood lover, adore this. You can try this crackers or tortilla chips for dipping. If you have seafood cocktail sauce ready, believe me this easy shrimp dip is easier than it sound to be. Try it.
  Cream cheese 8 Ounce, softened
  Finely chopped onion 2 Tablespoon
Worcestershire sauce 1 Teaspoon (To Taste)
  Garlic powder 1 Pinch
Shrimp 6 Ounce, drained and rinsed (Tiny Sized)
Seafood cocktail sauce 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)

In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, onion, Worcestershire sauce and garlic powder, mix well.
Stir in shrimp, breaking up shrimp slightly.
Form mixture into a ball.
Refrigerate, covered, until ready to serve.
Just before serving, pour cocktail sauce over shrimp mixture.
Serve with crackers or tortilla chips for dipping.
Note: When you're really in a rush, try this super-quick (and equally tasty) version.
Simply place the block of cream cheese on a small serving platter. (Omit onion, Worcestershire sauce and garlic powder.)
Top cream cheese with rinsed and drained shrimp.
Top shrimp with about 1/2 cup cocktail or chili sauce.
Garnish with parsley.
Serve with crackers or chips, with small knives for spreading, if desired.
