Hummus

Learn how to create this easy-to-make rich and creamy Mediterranean-style Hummus with our "How We Do It" video.
Ingredients
  Chickpeas 15 Ounce
  Kosher salt 1 Teaspoon
  Lemon juice 6 Tablespoon
  Olive oil 2 Tablespoon
  Tahini paste 6 Tablespoon
  Garlic 4 Clove (20 gm)
  Garlic pepper/Lemon pepper,black pepper 1 Teaspoon
Directions

GETTING READY
1.Wash and drain chickpeas, reserving 1/4 cup of the liquid.

MAKING
2.In a blender Place chickpeas, garlic, lemon juice, sesame paste, red pepper and salt.
3.Grind until smooth, scraping down sides as necessary, add the reserved liquid to get the desired consistency.
4.Drizzle olive oil on the mixture.
5.Garnish with toppings as desired.

SERVING
6.Serve hummus topped with some roasted red pepper puree, drizzled with olive oil and garnished with garlic pepper. Goes well with wheat crackers.

TIP
Hummus can be stored in airtight container in the refrigerator up to 2 days.
