Melon With Minted Lime Dip

Ingredients
  Sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Lime juice 6 Tablespoon
  Minced fresh mint 2 Tablespoon
  Grated lime peel 2 Teaspoon
  Grated ginger/2 tablespoons grated fresh gingerroot 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Melon balls 8 Cup (128 tbs) (Or Cubes)
For minted lime dip
  Sour cream 8 Ounce (1 Cup)
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Lime juice 1 Tablespoon
Directions

In a bowl, combine the sugar, water, lime juice, mint, lime peel and ginger.
Add melon balls.
Cover and refrigerate for 1-6 hours.
Thread melon onto wooden skewers or toothpicks.
In a bowl, combine dip ingredients.
Serve with melon.
