|Dried basil||1⁄2 Teaspoon, crushed|
|Garlic salt||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Canned minced clams||7 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Crackers||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Vegetable dippers||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
In a 1-quart casserole place bacon slices between layers of paper toweling.
Micro-cook until bacon is crisp, about 2 minutes.
Remove bacon and paper toweling; crumble bacon and set aside.
Place cream cheese in same casserole.
Micro-cook, covered, just till softened, about 1 minute.
Blend in onion, grated Parmesan, chili sauce, milk, basil, garlic salt, and pepper.
Stir drained clams into cheese mixture.
Micro-cook, uncovered, until heated through, about 3 minutes, stirring after each minute.
Stir in crumbled bacon.
Serve warm with crackers and vegetable dippers.
