Hot Shrimp Dip
|Cream cheese package||8 Ounce, cut up (1 Package)|
|Canned condensed cream of shrimp soup||10 3⁄4 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Finely chopped onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), finely chopped|
|Prepared horseradish||1 Teaspoon|
|Italian bread loaf||1 (10 Inch Round Loaf)|
1. Place cream cheese in 1 1/2-quart microwave-safe casserole. Microwave, uncovered, on high 1 minute or until very soft. Beat in soup until smooth.
2. Stir in onion and horseradish. Cover; microwave on high 4 minutes or until hot and bubbling, stirring once during cooking.
3. Meanwhile, slice off top of bread loaf; hollow out center of bread, leaving 1-inch-thick shell. Cut top and center of bread into cubes for dipping; set aside.
4. Place bread shell on microwave-safe plate; spoon hot soup mixture into shell. Microwave, uncovered, on high 30 seconds or until bread is just warm. Serve with bread cubes for dipping.
