Chili-Cheese Dip

Ingredients
  Finely chopped onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 1 Tablespoon
  Tomatoes 2 Medium, peeled, seeded and chopped
  Canned green chili peppers 4 Ounce, rinsed, seeded and chopped (1 Can)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Shredded cheddar cheese 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Milk 1 Tablespoon (Adjust Quantity As Needed)
  Tortilla chips/Corn chips 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Adjust Quantity As Needed)
Directions

In medium skillet cook onion in butter or margarine till tender but not brown.
Stir in tomatoes, chili peppers, and salt.
Simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
Add cheese, a little at a time, stirring till cheese is melted.
Stir in a little milk if mixture becomes too thick.
