|Finely chopped onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Tomatoes||2 Medium, peeled, seeded and chopped|
|Canned green chili peppers||4 Ounce, rinsed, seeded and chopped (1 Can)|
|Shredded cheddar cheese||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Milk||1 Tablespoon (Adjust Quantity As Needed)|
|Tortilla chips/Corn chips||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Adjust Quantity As Needed)|
In medium skillet cook onion in butter or margarine till tender but not brown.
Stir in tomatoes, chili peppers, and salt.
Simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
Add cheese, a little at a time, stirring till cheese is melted.
Stir in a little milk if mixture becomes too thick.
