Baked Spinach & Beef Dip

  Ground beef 1 Pound
  Onion 1 Medium, chopped
  Frozen chopped spinach 10 Ounce, well-drained and squeezed dry (1 Package)
  Canned mushroom pieces and stems 4 Ounce, drained (1 Can)
  Garlic salt 1 Teaspoon
  Dried basil 1 Teaspoon
  Butter 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  All purpose flour 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Milk 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Shredded monterey jack cheese/Mozzarella cheese 4 Ounce (1 Cup)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until no longer pink; drain.
Add the spinach, mushrooms, garlic salt, and basil.
Cover and cook for 5 minutes.
In a saucepan, melt butter.
Stir in the flour and salt until smooth.
Gradually add milk.
Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.
Combine sauce and meat mixture in oven safe baking dish; mix well.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Bake, uncovered, for 20-30 minutes or until heated through.
