Always Popular Layered Bean Dip

Ingredients
  Canned red kidney beans/Black beans 19 Ounce, drained, rinsed (One 540 Milliliter Can)
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), minced
  Dried oregano 1 Teaspoon
  Ground cumin 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Shredded cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Monterey Jack Or Cheddar)
  Light sour cream 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Minced pickled jalapeno peppers 1 Tablespoon
  Tomatoes 2 , seeded and finely diced
  Green onions 2 , finely chopped
  Sliced black olives 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Chopped fresh coriander/Parsley 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Directions

1. In a food processor, combine beans, garlic, oregano, cumin and 1 tbsp (15 mL) water; process until smooth. Spread in serving dish.
2. In a bowl combine cheese, sour cream and jalapeno peppers. Spread over bean layer. (Can be assembled earlier in day; cover and refrigerate.)
